Embedded System: Medical Device for Ablation Catheter Positioning
Design an electrophoresis-based Ablation Catheter positioning system from scratch and integrate the same with an AI based rendering system to render the position in real-time.
The product was developed grounds up with experimentation in a saline tank to simulate the positioning of the ablation catheter inside the body. The complete electronics needed for identifying the accurate position of the catheter, with a maximum error of ±1 mm was developed. This included an accurate signal generator, an accurate signal measurement system at voltage levels of 10 uV and a data acquisition system that acquired the live data and transferred the same to a PC for further processing.
This system was integrated with an AI based position predicting system that helped in accurately predicting the correct position of the catheter and rendering the same on the laptop PC.
